Welcome to the Haventree Family

Meet the Family: Daddo, Mama, & 5 kids!

When we heard the words, "your daughter has leukemia," our lives were forever changed. We're sharing what we've learned through that experience, as well as other aspects of our family. We homeschool, we homestead, & every day is a new adventure!

Our Purpose

When our daughter received her leukemia diagnosis, we started writing regularly to keep our friends & family updated regarding her health status. We soon realized that it was a beautiful opportunity not only to share information, but also share encouragement.

We know many families go through difficult experiences- cancer diagnosis, chronic illness, developmental delays, pregnancy loss, behavioral challenges, adoption, extended family difficulties & so many more.

While we each have our own story, there are many threads which connect them. We hope to speak about our own experiences in a way which is encouraging & informative. Additionally, we hope to bring humor to your life.

Most importantly, in everything we do, we seek to be genuine.

All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5
